I am a Security Engineer with expertise in cloud security, application security, and DevSecOps. My work involves securing cloud environments, integrating security into development pipelines, and ensuring applications are built with security in mind from day one. I focus on practical, scalable security solutions that align with both engineering and compliance needs. I have experience working across enterprise and government security, handling everything from vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to automating security processes in cloud and DevOps environments. My approach is hands-on—understanding risks, building defenses, and making security an enabler rather than a bottleneck. With a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Illinois Tech, I work at the intersection of engineering, security, and automation to improve security at scale. In addition to security, I also have a keen interest in AI. I often explore new AI tools and frameworks, testing their capabilities and understanding their impact on security and automation.
