Under the guidance of Dr Sonalini Khetrapal, Lead (Health Sector), ADB Human and Social Development Sector Office, I conducted a detailed socio-economic analysis of ageing in India, addressing gender, employment, healthcare, and social protection dimensions. I also analysed ageing-related policy gaps and systemic challenges across health, social security, elder care, and livelihood schemes. Through expert interviews and comparative case studies, I contributed in formulating targeted policy recommendations and multi-level solutions to strengthen ageing governance and service delivery. The research has been compiled as a paper titled \'India’s Aging Challenge: Strategic Reforms for Health, Care, and Social Protection\', which is currently under peer review in the Journal of Aging and Social Policy.
