Supporting surveyors, engineers, and operations with on-site tasks and coordinating mining activities, including conducting surveys and QAQC inspections for drilling, blasting, and infrastructure projects.• Carrying out daily assessments of grades and surveys in excavation areas, waste dumps, and tailings dams.• Overseeing the quality control of pits, dumps, tailing dams, and other civil works to ensure they meet design requirements.• Updating and surveying excavation areas, dumps, and site infrastructure, while generating volume estimates and creating as-built surveys using GEOVIA (Surpac) software.• Developing dig maps, setting up coordinates, and marking locations for blast holes, ore control boundaries, and excavation limits.• Performing additional tasks related to the engineering role as needed or directed by the department head.• Delivering daily reports and updates on tasks and progress to the mine manager and engineering team.
