ABOUT KUENLEY LHADEN GYALTSHEN
I currently work as an International Fellow with White & Case LLP in New York, US. My work focuses on International Arbitration and Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance (EIPAF). I graduated from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School with an LL.M as the first and only Bhutanese. I was also a member of the inaugural cohort (25 students) of Bhutan\'s first and only law school, Jigme Singye Wangchuck School in 2022. I am admitted to the Bhutan Bar.Previously, I have worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Regional Bureau of Asia-Pacific in building a community of practice for policy innovation to support just transition and inclusive business ecosystem in the region. Before that, I worked with UNDP Bhutan on Access to Justice projects supporting the establishment of Bhutan\'s National Legal Aid Center and Street Law initiatives to help vulnerable communities including persons with disabilities understand legal procedures. I have also implemented UNDP\'s support to the Royal Government of Bhutan in promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and workforce future programmes.I am an advocate for people-centric development.
