About Kuanfu Chen
As a Master of Science graduate student in Chemical Engineering PDP program at UC, Berkeley, I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills in semiconductors and chemistry to solve real-world problems. I was invovled in researching and developing new formulations of Al post-etch residual removal (PERR) for DRAM manufacturing as a Formulation Development Intern at Entegris, a leading provider of specialty chemicals and advanced materials solutions. I have also conducted extensive research on the chemical properties of aerosols in the atmosphere, especially the impact of gaseous amine on phase partitioning and nucleation, using the E‐AIM simulation model and laboratory experiments. I have presented my research findings at the ACS Fall 2021 National Meeting & Exposition and received multiple scholarships for my academic excellence.As a leader and a collaborator, I have founded and led ESE English Club, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the English proficiency and cultural awareness of students in China. I have also been involved in various campus activities and organizations, such as Peer for You, Student Leadership Program, and DKU Squash Club, where I have demonstrated my skills in team management, paper work, film editing and photoshop poster making. I am fluent in Chinese and English, and I have a certification in Minitab, a statistical software widely used in engineering and quality improvement. I am eager to learn new things and challenge myself, and I am looking forward to pursuing a career in chemical engineering that allows me to contribute to the advancement and innovation of the field.
