I have 20 years of experience in Construction Project Management and Estimating throughout the United States. In my current role as Senior Estimator at Ferrovial Construction, I work with an international team of proposal managers, estimators and designers to develop technical and financial proposals for major Design/Build and Public-Private Partnership (P3) infrastructure projects throughout the US and Canada. My current position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:+ Lead the estimating process for our internal estimating team as well as the joint venture partner\'s estimating team+ Preform detailed cost estimation of various heavy-civil scopes+ Develop accurate labor, equipment and material costs and cost projections for all US project estimates+ Develop and manage the bill of quantities (BOQ) templates, updates and final summaries for the Contracting department for all US projects+ Administer the HCSS HeavyBid system company-wide+ Administer the Smartbid software system company-wide+ Develop the proposal financial forms, detailed project cash flow analysis and escrow cost and pricing data for all US projects.+ Actively participate in all facets of pursuits for major design/build and infrastructure projects throughout the US and Canada.In my previous Project Manager / Project Engineer position at J. Banicki Construction, a division of Sterling Construction Company, I successfully managed highway and airport projects throughout Arizona. I also assisted with the APDM SOQ packages and performed preconstruction services including permitting, schedule development and submittals. In my previous estimating positions with Sunland Asphalt and General Acrylics, I was responsible for finding and analyzing potential projects throughout the Western US, developing bidding strategies, building subcontractor and material supplier relationships and tracking market price points. In addition, I developed estimating processes, bid templates, value engineering proposals, change orders and life cycle costs for a variety of municipal, private and government projects.
