ABOUT KYUNGTAE KT HAN
Kyungtae (KT) Han is a Senior Principal Researcher at Toyota InfoTech Labs, where he leads research on digital twin systems, generative AI for driver assistance, and cognitive AI agents for connected autonomous vehicles. He received his Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and brings over two decades of experience in intelligent systems, edge computing, and AI-enabled mobility. Dr. Han completed the Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate from Stanford University, further deepening his expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications and holds more than 100 patents spanning machine learning, intelligent transportation, and software architecture. He recently designed and taught a course on \"Generative AI for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles\" and is currently authoring a textbook under contract with (expected 2026). He also serves as an Associate Editor for the SAE Journal of Connected and Automated Vehicles and actively contributes to the research community through workshops, invited panels, and multi-institution collaborations at the intersection of AI and mobility innovation.
