I am a Distinguished Architect (AI) at Oracle, where I help shape the next generation of AI-driven systems across data and cloud platforms. My work focuses on reasoning-centric AI, large language models, and the orchestration of intelligent agents for enterprise-scale automation.Previously, I led AI efforts as Head of AI at Wand AI, Director of AI Research at Symbl.ai, and as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Manager at IBM Research in Yorktown Heights and Cambridge. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University, where my research advanced the frontiers of automated planning and reasoning for intelligent agents.Over the past two decades, I have contributed to diverse areas of artificial intelligence, including planning and reasoning, sequential decision-making, conversational AI, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, knowledge graphs, and workflow automation. My work bridges foundational research and applied systems, aimed at building AI that thinks, reasons, and acts with purpose. In recognition of my contributions, I was elected a Senior Member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence in 2021; and I currently serve as the Industry Relations Officer for the ACM Special Interest Group on AI (ACM SIGAI).
