About Ken Susilo

Ken Susilo is a California-based Professional Engineer. He has 30+ years of stormwater and water resources consulting experience and his efforts have focused on the development of multi-benefit, cost-effective, environmentally sensitive solutions, and more recently, funding studies, Triple Bottom Line (Sustainable Return on Investment) analyses, multi-hazard mitigation, alternative project delivery, and Public Private Partnerships (P3s and CBP3s). He has also served as a testifying expert and/or confidential consultant in cases involving stormwater, hydrology, flooding, water quality, and compliance. Susilo has been twice recognized as the ASCE Outstanding Civil Engineer in the Private Sector by ASCE (Section and State of California). His projects have been recognized by ASCE, CASQA, APWA, and WEF at all levels. Ken is currently a Senior Principal Geosyntec and Founder of the Center for Optimized Sustainable Infrastructure (COSI). He received his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley.
