Having started my researcher career in computer architecture, with substantial experience in emerging memory technologies, multiprocessor architecture and related issues, today I am more of a research generalist.Leading the DNA data storage project at Microsoft has opened up new horizons, both for the DNA data storage ecosystem and for me professionally: I discovered a passion for mission-driven, multidisciplinary research that aims to solve practical, meaningful problems. My favorite professional activity is to manage high risk, high impact projects with significant research components.
