ABOUT GARY SWEENEY

A Project Manager and Chartered Building Surveyor, Gary has over 30 years experience in property, project and construction consultancy. Over this time Gary has developed his experience in industrial, commercial and residential building consultancy with considerable experience at a senior level in the provision of Project Management, Employers Agent and Contract Administration roles. As a Chartered Building Surveyor, Gary also has substantial experience in quality control, acquisition and condition surveys, building pathology, planned maintenance, fire insurance valuations and the provision of advice to Landlords, Tenants, Banks and Receivers. In Project Management Gary’s experience extends across a variety of project types including new build, refurbishment, conversion, conservation and demolition. Recent experience includes Senior Project Manager for Acumen, development managers and project delivery specialists, on Royal Wharf, London, which is an £850m development of 3,385 residential units, commercial units, community centre, river wall upgrading and a Pier to serve the Thames Clipper water bus service. Previous experience, in conjunction with his business operational role as Partner and Director, Gary delivered the role of Regional Contracts Manager for Central Government accommodation contracts within Scotland and Northern Ireland. With the total value of the multiple contracts in the region of £150m his responsibility included the day to day management of the property team based in Glasgow, leading the interface with stakeholders and writing, implementing and organising a training programme that he delivered to the regional teams located throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland.With a technical background Gary brings a positive ‘hands on’ approach to the projects that he works on.KSN Project Management provides highly focused construction and development advice with extensive breadth and depth of experience to successfully deliver all construction and development projects, whatever their form and scale.
