I am a Charlotte-based private equity and M&A attorney with significant experience advising private equity and venture capital investors, entrepreneurs and emerging companies across sectors such as technology, life sciences, SaaS, industrials, manufacturing, entertainment and business services. I counsel sponsors, portfolio companies, management teams, and strategic clients through complex transactions and growth strategies and have worked on a wide range of transactions with deal values spanning from under $1M to $1B+.Prior to moving back home to North Carolina, I began my career at a global law firm in Boston, focusing on leveraged buyouts, early-stage and growth investments and other general corporate matters. In law school, I served as a student attorney in BU’s Startup Law Clinic, a strategic clinical partnership with MIT University, where I advised MIT student entrepreneurs on legal formation and growth initiatives, an experience that continues to influence my commitment to supporting entrepreneurial innovation.
