ABOUT SLIMANE KHALDI

I’m an independent footwear designer known for a refined creative eye and strong technical fluency. I shape future-facing products at the intersection of performance, culture, and material innovation.With a background spanning product storytelling, creative direction, and hands-on design engineering, I lead projects from first concept to final sample. Every phase is grounded in a high taste level, functional awareness, and sculptural intent.My career began with contributions to the Yeezy Season 7 collection, which led to collaborations with globally respected names in athletic and luxury design.As Head of Design & Collaborations at C2H4 / Chemist Creations, I led key projects with Nike, Asics, and Vans. I later served as Head Footwear Designer for Jean Paul Gaultier and played a leading role in an unreleased LOEWE footwear capsule developed within the brand’s internal pipeline.At Asics, I directed inline performance collections under my creative lead. Additional design roles include work with McQ by Alexander McQueen, A-COLD-WALL*, Stone Island, Raf Simons, and the Skepta x Puma collaboration.In parallel, I’ve developed both a barefoot performance concept and an elite CrossFit silhouette. These projects explored the edges of biomechanical design and high-function footwear systems.I currently operate independently, collaborating with select partners on projects that demand clarity of vision, technical depth, and long-term creative alignment.
