   Developed a Unity based Hololens app for indoor conferences. Mapping, localization, and scene semantic analysis were offloaded using microservices to an edge server with WiFi connectivity. Local AR scene ran at 60-90 FPS with semantic labels for scene pushed at 2-20 FPS intervals through HW optimized microservices.(Keywords: C/C++, ORB-SLAM2, Co-fusion, Kubernetes, Unity Native Plugins, 3DMatch, OpenVINO)- Developed 2 Kubernetes deployments that networked with robotic clients (UR5e, Boston Dynamic’s Spot) over 5G. Mapping, localization and scene semantic analysis microservices were offloaded to an edge server. Projects had varied requirements such as 8 ms deadline between frame capture and client action, detailed performance metric collection, visualization and multi-map registration.(Keywords: C/C++/Python, rtab_map, ROS, gRPC, gstreamer)- Ported Deep Fluids and Deep Illumination models to OpenVINO and attempted to integrate inferences to a Unity rendering pipeline. Upto 15 FPS was achieved on physics enabled smoke and GI renders.(Keywords: Unity Native Plugin, C/C++/Python, Tensorflow, OpenVINO)- Ported an existing car detection pipeline to utilize a Yolov4 INT8 model resulting in 3-4x speedup via OpenVINO. Pipeline is optimized to support next-gen VPU HW. Required bug fixing openvino and omz opensource repository.
