I am a passionate Optical Engineer with a decade of industry experience in applied optical and optomechanical design and four years of formal management experience. In that time I’ve operated as an optical designer, mechanical designer, drafter, project manager, product developer, and team lead. Through this work I have gained experience in a large variety of market sectors including medical imaging, defense & aerospace, infrared, R&D, and machine vision. I am self-motivated, positive, and outgoing, with a drive to continue learning and applying my knowledge. I enjoy leading teams and place a high emphasis on collaboration, communication, process standardization, and continuous improvement. I actively engage in the optics community to help further the optics industry and to continue to grow as an engineer.
