About Keerthi Anand

As a doctoral researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I am passionate about applying my engineering and scientific skills to develop innovative solutions for clinical challenges. With over 8 years of experience in computer science, signal processing, and engineering, I have acquired a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, CUDA-GPU acceleration, and computer-aided design.In my current role, I am working on a cutting-edge project that integrates acoustic radiation force elastography and blood flow measurement techniques to enhance the assessment of plaque rupture risk, a key contributor to stroke risk. I have been awarded the prestigious NIH-NRSA F31 Fellowship for this project, which involves the development of high-frame-rate GPU-accelerated ultrasound imaging sequences for stroke risk assessment. I have also contributed to multiple publications and presentations that showcase the significance and impact of this research. I am eager to leverage my extensive knowledge and expertise in medical imaging and signal processing to a broader context, where I can create innovative solutions that make a difference in the world.
