About Krystyn Haecker

Krystyn Haecker, AIA is a Partner who joined Mirador Group in 2013. She specializes in leading Urban Multi-Family and Mixed-Use Commercial Projects, where she enjoys engaging with how people live, work and interact with their communities at different scales. She serves on the Leadership Team as the company Integrator, and manages programs for Recruitment and Professional Development. Krystyn is serving as Texas Society of Architects (TxA) President in 2026. She previously served as President-Elect in 2025, Vice President of Professional Development from 20••••22, and Co-Chair for the TxA Conference Committee for 2024. She also served on TxA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee from 20••••20, the TxA Convention Futures Committee from 20••••20 and the TxA Design Awards Committee in 2023. Krystyn is also a Partner with Mirador Group’s sister companies - Vedetta Design and Vedetta Atelier - which focus on Interior Design and Interior Procurement respectively. In 2016, Krystyn participated in creating the Women in Architecture (WiA) Committee of AIA Houston. She served as the 2018 Committee Chair and 2017 Vice-Chair for Networking and Social Media. During her tenure as Committee Chair, WiA Houston received the TxA Mentorship Award. Krystyn was selected as a scholar for the inaugural Houston class (20••••19) of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP) and served as the CKLDP Sponsorship Advisor for the 20••••20 class. She previously served on the AIA Houston Board of Directors for 2024.Krystyn is a licensed architect in Texas and LEED AP BD+C professional. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and received a Masters of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Krystyn has been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as a 2024 Women Who Mean Business Honoree, by Bisnow as a 2025 Houston Women Leading Real Estate Leader of the Year, and is a member of the 2025 Class of the BD+C 40 Under 40. Krystyn is the 2025 AIA Houston Ben Brewer Young Architect Award winner and a 2025 Texas Society Architects recipient of the Award for Early Career Professional Achievement.
