Lapsed botanist turned lover of all-things-people-leadership. I care an awful lot about building representative companies, wordplay, and creating environments where folks feel valued and seen. My path into tech isn\'t a traditional one, and I am passionate about helping others navigate the somewhat ambiguous terrain of the tech landscape. I\'m also a firm believer in the power of what technology-focused companies can create in the world and for their employees. I\'ve been fortunate to learn a tonne of about the incredible potential for good at Shopify, and am now thrilled to continue this path at FreshBooks.
