ABOUT KRYSTLE MARIA JOHN
Krystle John was an Associate at one of India\'s top Compliance and Investigations Practice at AZB & Partners. Her interest in the field of white collar crimes took root during her final year at law school. Krystle has worked on several marquee corporate investigations and post investigation advisory. She has conducted numerous complex confidential forensic investigations for private and listed companies, in matters concerning financial fraud, procurement fraud, insider trading, corruption, bribery, antitrust violations etc. Krystle has been part of M&A deals assisting in ABAC due diligence mandated under foreign laws. She has also assisted in building pan India compliance framework encompassing labor law compliances, updating whistleblower reporting mechanism, devising creative ways to dispense awareness of company policy on anti-bribery and anti-corruption obligations to employees at the ground level. Krystle has advised clients on their disclosure obligations in relation to investigations and termination of employment for misconduct. She has also provided assistance in post investigation litigation and worked on cases in relation to The Prevention of Corruption Act, The Companies Act and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Regulations), along with FCPA and UK Bribery Act. Krystle is a non-affiliate member of the India Chapter of Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA).
