Grown Here Farms and its parent company Athena Farms are the largest organic vegetable producers in their region, with over 60 acres of ground crop production in beets, carrots, onions, shallots, parsnips, squash, cabbage & lettuce. It\'s second farm is located in a greenhouse in Vancouver, BC producing retail level gourmet organic micro-green salad blends, organic loose-leaf teas and other organic CPG products aligned with their vision and values. Customers include: Whole Foods Markets, Thrifty\'s Foods, Community Natural Foods, Urban Fare, SPUD.CA, FarmBound, Natures Fare Markets, Pro-Organics, Discovery Organics, Pomme\'s Natural Markets, Earth\'s Own Markets and many others. We\'re focused on a Localized, Globalized Economy - providing regional food to our communities, promoting local, while accessing global intellectual property and technology for efficiency and scale. With a vision to create a recognizable consumer love-brand for organics in Canada, turning a commodity into a brand, with a stretch goal to be the first Net-Zero Carbon Footprint farms in North America.
