Coal Miner\'s Daughter is a retail clothing and jewellery brand located in Toronto, ON Canada. We are owned and operated locally by my friend and business partner Janine and I, plus an amazing team of shop associates who we couldn\'t do this without. In addition operating our stores, I direct CMD\'s brand strategy, retail experience, and social media channels, and I design and make sterling silver and semi-precious stone jewellery available at our stores.At CMD we specialize in locally made clothing and jewellery. We are host to over 60 independent Canadian designers and brands, many of them local to Toronto, and our roster is growing all the time. In 2012 we expanded our inventory to offer some carefully selected international brands as well (from France, Denmark, London, USA). Along with our carefully curated international brands, we are passionate about supporting the local fashion scene in Toronto and Canada.We have now built and opened SEVEN Toronto locations; our flagship store and studio was located at 594 Markham Street in Mirvish Village/The Annex - opened in 2009 and relocated twice within Mirvish Village to it\'s last address in late 2014. Mirvish Village was closed in early 2017 for a massive development that evicted every single one of it\'s tenants. Our second shop is located at 744 Queen Street West (2012), and our third opened in September 2014 is at 87 Roncesvalles Ave. In 2017 we relocated our flagship studio shop from Mirvish Village to the Junction neighbourhood in Toronto at 3023 Dundas Street West.
