Serves as the primary HR contact for regional GMAC offices in the United States & United Kingdom. This role may also support India or China operations as a backup and/or provide administrative support. The Associate, Human Resources Generalist functions as an administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, performance management, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, training, DE & I, employee engagement, and employee records. Additionally, this role works collaboratively with the broader HR team, organizational stakeholders, and employees to support GMAC’s strategic vision.Key Responsibilities:• Partner strategically with key stakeholders in regional offices to deliver required human resources programs and talent. •Responsible for new employee onboarding, including recruitment and orientation support and planning.• Facilitate and provide guidance on GMAC policies and programs; Be a point of contact for employees for HR-related questions.• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.• Provide recommendations and assist in developing and documenting HR policies that support GMAC business goals and foster a positive work environment.• Lead internal communications related to culture, DEI, and employee engagement.• Ensure labor law and regulatory compliance; Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations. • Enter and maintain data in HRIS (i.e, Workday). • Coordinate with the broader HR team to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records.• Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and systems, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.• Independently lead assigned HR projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and effective execution.
