ABOUT KRYSTAL LAFERRIERE

I am a seasoned cross-functional professional with a passion for challenging the status quo through the curation of purpose-driven and human-centric programming. With more than 15 years of experience across human resources, marketing, communications, and data aggregation & analytics, I am well-versed in strategic planning, design, forecasting and analytics in these core areas. As a well-rounded multidisciplinary individual, I have a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges that impact all lines of business which allows me to act as a strategic business partner to help operationalize conceptual ideas into measurable outcomes. My intrinsic drive and unwavering passion have allowed me to flourish as a savvy business professional. I have leaned into entrepreneurship with the creation and development of a health and wellness cannabis-infused product line, which has played a significant role in transforming the function of cannabis within the alternative medicine arena which was sold in 2018 to a medical research company. I have continued to build my skills in leadership, strategy, marketing, brand building, communications, business development and product innovation, all while honing my HR skillset. My cannabis expertise, instinctive curiosity, marketing knowledge, and agile mindset led to becoming a sought-after Cannabis Wellness Expert speaking at marquee events such as MJBiz Con and the Lift & Co. Expo sharing my unique insights on product formulation, marketing, brand development and customer experience. Lyfebulb, an organization that connects those affected by chronic disease with patient ambassadors and entrepreneurs, recognized my role as a community leader by naming me a Lyfebulb Ambassador. I use this platform to inspire and support others living with chronic illness. Passionate about community, I have fostered a large online network through my Instagram account (@candidlykrystal), where I hope to enriches others’ lives by engaging in raw and open dialogue. Through product innovation, personal storytelling and education, I have sought to forge a deep path in the health and wellness space and empowered others along the way.
