ABOUT ANTJE KRUSE-SCHOMAKER
Antje is a Design Leader, Digital Strategist, and Experience Consultant with more than 25 years of personal experience. Her strengths are bridging business value and design - as well as setting up, building, coaching and utilizing design teams. She is an excellent design facilitator, enabler, manager, consultant, translator and service designer. Antje has accompanied multiple clients on their digital transformation journey. She is a leader in Enterprise Design Thinking and part of the senior leadership team of IBM Design with about designers worldwide. 2019 Antje took over the responsibility of leading the growing Practice of Experience Design and Mobile in the iX Family in DACH taking care of more than 350 experts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and building new studios in the area. As active part of the IBM Design Transformation Antje built the IBM Studios Hamburg in 2015, focusing on human centered client solutions including new technologies like AI and blockchain to drive digital transformation. In she was part of the founding management team of the IBM centers for e-business innovation, a predecessor of the IBM iX organization. Antje started her career as a designer for multimedia solutions in IBM Technology and moved to the IBM Consulting Group in 1996 to complement her design knowledge with a business strategy and business transformation education. There she built the first prototyping lab for e-business within the consultancy.
