   Validate, verify, and test CAT Diesel engine control systems and ECU software on dSPACE MRET Test benches Utilize Vector Tools – CANape, CANalyzer, and MRET test equipment, and Simulators to execute tests and document results prior to flash file release for Large Commercial 3500 CAT Diesel Engines and C175 Locomotives Develop Python automation scripts and test automation scripts using Automation Desk, troubleshoot hardware/software in cases where tests fail to narrow down the root cause Interface directly with an application lead engineer to understand and implement customer requirements and field issues Work with dSPACE Control Desk and Automation Desk for multiple engine applications with varying Schematics, Pinouts, and Wiring Harness Handle ECM flash file releases for large engines 3500 and C175 series used in Large Commercial applications Flash, configure, and test EMCP 4.4, and interface EMCP with D3500 Large Engine Applications Standardized test cases, and validation processes to validate and verify engine software on dSPACE MRET Simulator Assist the application lead engineer with gathering the requirements for CAT ET – PID support, and configuration parameters Planning and managing validation activities to meet Gateway deliveries and critical customer timings Resolve NPI and CPI issues Software Integration Integrate software components from many different software libraries.
