ABOUT KRUNAL SHAH
As an Owner/Associate at Shoppers Drug Mart, I lead and manage two retail pharmacy stores with a focus on providing quality of patient care and education to our patients. I have over 10 years of experience as a pharmacist and a certified diabetes educator, and I am passionate about helping people with diabetes achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life.In my current role, I work with a team of pharmacists, technicians, and assistants to deliver optimal patient care and customer service, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. I also collaborate with other health care professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and dietitians, to provide comprehensive and coordinated diabetes management programs. Some of the achievements I am proud of include: increasing patient retention and satisfaction rates, reducing medication errors and adverse events, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance workflow and efficiency.
