I am a Backend Engineer with 6+ years of experience designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant cloud services. Currently, I work at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), where I engineer the Layer-7 Load Balancer that powers Tier-0 services and handles mission-critical internal and external traffic with ultra-low latency and high availability. My focus is on building reliable distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and microservices architecture.I have led initiatives around service reliability, asynchronous request handling, credential automation, observability, and performance optimization. I have also built end-to-end monitoring pipelines using Datadog, Grafana, and Terraform to improve operational excellence and reduce incident resolution time. Prior to Oracle, I built high-throughput data processing pipelines capable of processing more than 500K events per hour at Teikametrics, and improved 5G system performance at Radisys by optimizing scheduler data structures and low-level algorithms.I hold an M.Tech in Computer Science from NIT Trichy (Silver Medalist), where I also published research in applied machine learning for wireless networks.    Architected and own a fault-tolerant Tier-0 L7 Load Balancer routing 95% of OCI\'s internal and external traffic — built on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and in-memory caching, enforcing strict p99 latency SLOs of < 10ms LB overhead and < 300ms end-to-end, with Datadog alerting and 24×7 on-call operations. Implemented reactive microservices with fully asynchronous data flows, improving request throughput and system resilience under peak load — ensuring the load balancer sustains performance without degradation during OCI traffic surges. Built an automated credential refresh pipeline integrating with Secret Service and downstream client services — eliminated 50+ security compliance findings per quarter and removed all manual intervention from the credential rotation lifecycle. Drove Terraform-based observability infrastructure with Datadog and Grafana — defined and enforced p99 latency thresholds, enabled Tier-0 on-call operations, and achieved 24×7 operational excellence with proactive alerting and zero-touch incident escalation. Mentored 2 interns on production system design, coding best practices, and OCI architecture — reduced code review turnaround time and cut new engineer onboarding by approximately 2 weeks.
