Experience- Staff Engineer at VMware, I am currently part of the Security Business Unit (Carbon Black) architecting and building multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP) micro-services and platforms for Collective Defense Cloud (CDC)- I bring along with me over 12.5 years of overall experience in the IT industry and especially in the Cloud Computing domain- Previously, I worked with reputed firms like Coupa, Deutsche Bank, Sunguard Availability Services, and Persistent Systems. As an applications and solutions architect, I bring extensive experience in Cloud-based solutions, architecture, and product development using microservices and serverless architectures, primarily in the Disaster Recovery domain.Career highlights- I supported a small squad of 5 people as an architect and lead cloud software engineer in the Cloud Engineering department of Coupa building world-class multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP) platforms and services using microservices and serverless architectures- I was an engineering lead and architect for one of the very popular and successful products at Deutsche Bank in my last role. Apart from building this product from scratch, I built an engineering team of 27 people with diverse primary skills. I was also instrumental in building a robust engineering culture with great agility for this team- I am one of the authors of patents on \"Unified replication and recovery\" while I was working in Sungard Availability Services.
