I joined Jaguar Cars Ltd. in Spetember 1996. For the first five years, I worked on various NVH attribute projects covering power train sound quality and road noise. Also, during this time, I was responsible for conducting modal test and other body structure related tests.Since 2001, I have been responsible for the Operational Sound Quality attribute. This attribute covers systems like door shut sound quality, HVAC, sunroof, seats, steering column, interior storage (glove box, cup holders, centre console) etc. The attribute covers systems which a customer can operate in a dealer showroom.I am responsible for the OSQ attribute across all Jaguar and Land Rover car-lines. The role also involves being responsible for developing processes and procedures, and to ensure that they are consistently applied across both brands.
