Inward inspection of project materials and consumables, Raising discrepancy report in case any non conformance. Reviewed and approving Quality assurance plans, Inspection test plan & work procedure. Reviewed and approving WPS/PQR/WPQ Review / approve the sub-contractor’s procedures. Ensure for the proper handling of welding consumables as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and as per the consumable handling procedure of company. Witness welder qualification test & monitor welder’s performance and update the weld repair log. Visual inspection completed welds. Ensure that the works are carried out as per the approved welding procedures, ITP and work instructions Expedite the NDT requirements for various piping / service classes. ISO/Mechanical clearance of fabricated, erected pipe spools and structural. Advice project personnel in taking appropriate corrective and preventive action on non-conformances related to mechanical / welding works. Close out the observations, non-conformances raised during internal and external audits. Identifying the training needs. Conduct tool box talks.
