Over my academic career, I successfully led one to three-year research projects involving comprehensive literature reviews, organic synthesis, meticulous characterization, and in-depth data analysis. I fostered collaboration across multiple departments, utilized state-of-the-art instrumentation, and diligently documented the research process. Expertise in designing and synthesizing novel organic heterocyclic scaffolds by Metal Catalysis, Oxidation, Reduction, Asymmetrical Synthesis, Amide Coupling, Bioconjugation, Natural Product analogues, Bio-Isosteres, Prodrug, Macrocyclic and Flavour and Fragrance molecules in the form of mg to gram to kg level, 01 to 15 stages or more with the Lab Validation, Pilot Plant and technology transferred. Proficient in utilizing modern analytical techniques, including spectroscopy techniques (NMR, IR, UV-Vis, Powered/Single Crystal X-Ray), and Chromatography techniques (HPLC, GC, LCMS, Flash Chromatography Reverse/Normal, Perp-HPLC) to characterize and confirm the structures of synthesized compounds and this comprehensive knowledge allows me to conduct efficient and precise experiments, ensuring the successful execution of research projects in the field of medicinal chemistry. Performing various Fees for-services (FFS), full-time employees (FTE) collaborations in a deadlines-based environment for drug discovery and contract research organization (CRO), and Hands-on preparing status reports, milestone data, and productivity matrices, following Hazard Statements (SACOSHH, COP), EHS procedures about the necessary changes in the use of chemicals. Able to work with ownership in a cross-functional team to meet stringent deadlines of the projects. My efforts culminated in several impactful publications, showcasing my dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to the academic/industry community.
