ABOUT KRITANU CHATTOPADHYAY
My sandbox has both gears and gradients.I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, with a passion for the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, focusing on biomedical applications and industrial automation. Through research internships at premier institutions, including IIT Patna, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, and Jadavpur University, I have gained hands-on experience in dynamic simulation, robotics software development, and AI-driven automation.My projects include designing control strategies for biped robots and UAVs, contributing to the backend development of the RoboAnalyzer robotics software, and using Large Language Models to summarize medical data from cancer treatments. I have also applied deep learning to precision agriculture, resulting in a published paper, and classified eye diseases with 92.5% test accuracy using advanced transfer learning models. I work extensively with Python, MATLAB, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and simulation software like Altair MotionSolve, enabling me to design and validate complex robotic solutions.My goal is to leverage this multidisciplinary skill set to build technologies that advance healthcare and create meaningful change. I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in Medical Robotics and AI-powered healthcare solutions.Besides my technical interest, I do enjoy my past-time listening music and playing guitar!
