About Yifan Cui
I am a UX designer with extensive experience and a master\'s degree in product innovation with a focus on UX from Carnegie Mellon University. I have experience designing and conducting user research, creating and iterating user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and organizing and presenting content for various platforms and audiences. Recently, I worked as a Lead UX designer at a startup called KUU-Tech, where I built and iterated a decentralized shopping app based on user research and A/B testing, and attracted over 110K followers in six months. I also hosted cross-team design critique workshops and facilitated business planning and angel fundraising with co-funders. Last summer, I interned as a UX designer at SIMON Markets from iCapital, where I broadened the features of the Spectrum website, a new tool for financial advisors, and built client report generation user flow and interfaces. I redesigned the company lifecycle platform and internal website dashboard. Additionally, I designed a community-driven personal growth app in a team of three at Trybe, where I led questionnaire research, concept tests, problem statements, brainstorming sessions, idea selection sessions, and prototype and interaction design. I have skills in user experience, user interface design, Adobe Photoshop, and other design and research tools. I am passionate about creating user-centric and innovative solutions that enhance the learning and financial outcomes of diverse users. I am eager to join a team that values collaboration, creativity, and impact, and to contribute to the design and development of products and services that solve real-world problems.
