As a mechanical design engineer, I design and develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept to production.• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for projects involving production, fabrication and/or installation.• Perform engineering calculations to support design work.• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-assisted drafting equipment and software.• Generate preliminary plans and drawings for bidding and pricing calculations.• Collaborate with PNP management, production leads, sales team and administrative staff, vendors, customers and contractors to produce drawings and other information necessary to ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process from inception to completion.
