ABOUT KRISTY ROBINSON
I am a behavioral health professional with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through mental health, substance use, and legal challenges. My approach is holistic and rooted in compassion, respect, and a strong belief in each person’s potential to grow and heal. I’ve led efforts in counseling, crisis intervention, and case management, always focused on connecting people with the resources they need to thrive. I believe in the value of learning from lived experience. Currently, I am a 4.0 doctoral student studying various forms of acceptance with the overall purpose of developing methods to prevent soldier suicide. Serving veterans is especially close to my heart. It’s an honor to support those who’ve served our country, helping them navigate the unique challenges they may face. As I pursue my doctorate in Community Leadership with an emphasis on equity and inclusion, I remain committed to building safe, supportive spaces where people, especially veterans, feel seen, valued, and empowered.
