About Kristy McKinney
I have been a fitness professional for 18 years and I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. As a former Master Trainer with Club Pilates, and current Master Trainer for Pilates Academy International, I have had the privilege of training over 150 instructors in the Pilates method and on all the Pilates apparatus for over 14 years. I am also a National Certified Pilates Trainer, Core Align instructor, and a Gait Guru through Gait Happens. I have specialty certifications also in scoliosis, advanced posture analysis, and Post Rehab education. Kristy is also certified on the Bellicon Rebounder, Pilates Suspension Method, Barre Above, Zumba, TRX, Spin, HIIT, PAI Bosu, and much more. I believe this is an imperfect world causing imperfect movement which causes pain. I have empathy for my clients due to my own past with multiple C-sections, foot issues and surgeries. This is where I drafted the Motto of, “an imperfect girl, in an imperfect world, doing imperfect pilates”.
