Over my nine years of practice, I have developed a reputation as an effective, knowledgeable, innovative, and responsive advocate for clients across a broad array of industries. I have an extensive history of litigating trade secrets matters, where I have developed skills in comparative analysis of products that are allegedly based on trade secret materials and a firm understanding of trade secrets damages law. I have litigated and arbitrated cases involving franchise law, trademark licensing, false advertising, and a broad array of breach of contract and business tort cases. I have also litigated or arbitrated several corporate governance matters involving securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and failure to observe corporate formalities. I also serve as Orrick\'s primary attorney responsible for bond validation actions in California. I have experience in nearly all aspects of civil litigation before state and federal courts in California and beyond. Finally, I am a serial innovator in litigation practice, focusing on building tools that automate mundane tasks or repetitive pleadings. In my pro bono work, I have focused on asylum and refugee law, successfully representing many clients in removal (deportation) hearings and appeals. I was recognized for my contributions in this area as the Public Law Center\'s 2018 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, an honor of which I\'m extremely proud, but I love this work because it gives me a chance to make a tangible and even profound difference in the lives of individual clients. In am also active in supporting local non-profits, both financially and through active participation. I served for two years as Co-Chair of the Public Law Center\'s \"PLC Advocates\"-a young lawyers division that engages in outreach and fundraising for that organization. In 2020, I was selected to join the Public Law Center board of directors for a four-year term. Finally, I have served on fundraising and event planning committees for Boy\'s Hope, Girl\'s Hope of Orange County-a charity that provides housing and educational services for homeless children and teens. In my spare time, such as it is, I like to surf, bike, run, and more recently, spend time with my new son. I\'m also an avid reader of escapist novels (Sci-Fi/Fantasy) and history.
