About Kristopher von Hohn

Kris is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Retail Investment Advisors (“RIA”) team specializing in grocery anchored, open-air and mixed-use center advisory as well as dispositions and acquisitions. Kris is the only RIA member in the state of Texas and leads a team focused on all major markets in the state. The RIA platform consists of team members that perform at the highest levels for REITS, institutions, and private owners across the country. Since 2012, the Texas team, has transacted on over 1.5 billion dollars and 16.2 million square feet of real estate. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Kris worked as an industrial and retail investment broker at NAI Partners Houston where he helped form and establish a successful retail Investment team.Kris graduated from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University and obtained a BBA with a dual major in Entrepreneurship and Information Systems. After graduation, Kris worked in the technology field for fifteen years with Hewlett-Packard Computer Corp, a Fortune 100 company, as a software engineer/project manager optimizing HP’s Supply Chain. During this period, his love of real estate and entrepreneurial spirit led him into the acquisition and management of income producing properties across four states. Over the past 25 years he has been involved with a wide array of real estate dealings, including the following: the disposition/acquisition of large-scale investment properties, warehouse construction, multi-family investment and a timber plantation in East Texas. Outside of commercial investments and real estate, Kris is a member of Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, where he has previously served as a Bible Study Director and deacon. In addition, Kris has served the Spring Branch Sports Association and Memorial7 Association where he has coached youth football, soccer, and baseball for over 8 years. His hobbies include bow hunting, fly fishing, snow skiing, sports, and backpacking.
