About Kristopher Velazquez

Kristopher Velazquez is a LM Fellow serving Logistics and Sustainment at Lockheed Martin Corporate Engineering. In this role, he is responsible for the maturation of digital transformation for all Lockheed Martin sustainment technologies including virtual reality training applications, additive manufacturing, augmented reality maintenance, digital twin, and data analytics.A proven leader with more than 20 years of business development, program management, engineering and customer engagement experience, Mr. Velazquez has delivered exceptional results on many of Lockheed Martin’s highest profile programs. Prior to assuming his current role, he was the Chief Engineer for the United States Joint Staff, where he was responsible for enterprise communication, design, and development serving the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon. Previously, Mr. Velazquez served as a Systems Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation. In this role, he was responsible for communication architecture design, project management, and data center consolidation. Mr. Velazquez has held several roles of increasing including developing agreements with industry, providing legal evaluation agreements, and facilitating technology pilots with external customers. As a member of the U.S. Navy Mr. Velazquez deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and supported communication for over sailors during wartime operations. Mr. Velazquez received his Master of Information Systems Management from Keller University and currently serves as a community STEM leader in the Virginia Beach school system.
