I have been in Sales for 24 years. From Filter Queen vacuum cleaners when I was 16, to Cutco Cutlery and pizza coupons. In my experience, I have sold commercial and residential solar, cars, timeshares, Aflac, furniture, mobile phones for AT & T (twice) & Gateway Computers. Over half of the positions I was hired for were not for outside sales, but I quickly turned the positions into exactly that by demonstrating my approach and how effective it is. I can’t sit and wait for customers or opportunities to come to me. I have to go chase them! I’m just wired that way. I have been part of, started, and managed teams ranging from 5 to 75 employees. Every good opportunity I have had in my professional career is because I just keep knocking. I keep putting myself in positions to succeed and grow. Literally or figuratively, I’m always grinding and networking and “knocking” just one more door. The future is bright and I am beyond excited for this next chapter in my career.
