About Kristopher Huggins

With over 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I am a lead control room operator with a passion for building and implementing efficient and safe upstream and midstream control rooms. I have an A.A.S in Petroleum Technology and a skill set that includes wells, pipelines, diversity, and production organization. I currently work at Denbury Inc, a leading carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery company, where I am responsible for creating a new upstream control room from the ground up. I value innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, and I strive to contribute to Denbury\'s vision of reducing carbon footprint and enhancing oil recovery. Before joining Denbury, I worked at Aethon Energy, where I progressed from a senior control room operator to a lead control room operator in a hybrid control room. I created efficiencies between upstream and midstream operations, acted as a liaison between midstream and commercial teams, and developed nomination scheduling strategies for 19 gathering systems. I also managed control room reports and procedures, trained new operators, and increased Aethon\'s control room capacity from 140Mmcf/d to 2.5Bcf/d with a lean mindset. I am proud of the impact I had on Aethon\'s growth and performance, and I look forward to applying my knowledge and experience to Denbury\'s projects.
