ABOUT KRISTOPHER D.

I am a Superintendent at Pomerleau, a leading Canadian construction company, where I oversee the daily operations and coordination of large-scale projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. I work with a team of project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes and meet deadlines and budgets. I have a strong engineering background, with a master\'s and a bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto, and a microcredential in mass timber construction from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. I also have skills in surveying, Bluebeam software, Microsoft Project, construction management, and Procore software, which I use to plan, monitor, and control the project scope, schedule, and resources. I am passionate about learning new technologies and innovations in the construction industry, such as mass timber, which is a sustainable and resilient building material that improves the quality of life for people and communities. I am motivated by the challenge and satisfaction of building structures that have a positive impact on the environment and society.
