My career spans service in state government, advocacy, and corporate negotiation. I founded DDA Associates to serve innovative companies and proactive government entities by identifying and negotiating beneficial new relationships. As governments respond to unprecedented changes in sectors like energy, healthcare, climate mitigation, and cybersecurity, it is important they have access to solutions that make these goals possible. My proven track record, broad experience, and extensive network of relationships at every level of government give me a unique and valuable perspective to bring together the right pieces for effective change. For more than a decade I have built coalitions between governments, nonprofit organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders throughout the United States. In that process, I identified a disturbing common thread. Localities consistently lack the institutional knowledge and established processes to procure services in a way that provides the best value for their constituents. Far too often, these communities have an antiquated system with pre-approved winners for proposals. This leads to rampant mismanagement of taxpayer funds, mistrust of local leadership, and loss of opportunity for growth and prosperity.
