   Make-A-Wish America\'s mission is to grant the wishes of all eligible children with critical illnesses. The national IT department supports the technology needs of the 59 chapters that grant wishes across the USA.• Leading cross functional teams through the DMAIC process improvement methodology to map current processes, analyze root causes, identify and implement solutions to create more efficient future state processes. • Have led 9 full Lean Six Sigma projects ranging from 3 months to 1+ year long. Improvements include: • Mitigated risk for $195k in cost avoidance, improved collaboration and capacity visibility across corporate partner teams and brand & marketing department to more efficiently serve the needs of high level corporate partnerships. • Saving the organization $50k annually on chapter financial responsibility for large group wishes.• Saved time on rework by improving wish granting processes before they were built into the organization’s internal tracking software.• Developing and facilitating Lean Six Sigma trainings for Make-A-Wish employees. Created a White Belt training that is now incorporated into the mandatory new hire onboarding process. • Created and facilitated a White Belt for leadership training that was provided to C Suite level executives and senior directors. • Have trained and certified over 230 Make-A-Wish employees as Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belts. • Providing project management skills to assist with the initial phases of organization wide software rollout.
