Dedicated to social and economic justice and equitable access to civil legal services, MLA is a statewide nonprofit law firm with 12 offices and ~350 high performing staff delivering – or supporting the delivery of – free legal aid to low-income and vulnerable clients across civil matters to include fair housing, employment, labor, domestic violence, child custody, and elder abuse. · Closely collaborate with the new CEO and Chief Legal Officer to inaugurate and co-steer a leadership model and strategic plan across operations, administration, human resources/employee lifecycle, facilities & security, finance/accounting/fiscal health, IT, legal program infrastructure, organization-wide professional development, reporting systems, labor negotiations, and ongoing assessment to ensure programmatic excellence, clarity, transparency, and a client-centered culture.· Member of the Senior Management Team while leading a team of six direct reports (Deputy Director, Strategic Initiatives, Directors of IT, Administrative Services, Grants, Contracts, & Compliance, Data Analytics & Insights, and Training) and 25 indirect reports.· Co-lead in the refinement, design, and integration of organization-wide, cross team systems, processes, and data development to ensure alignment with goals and increase operational efficiencies.· Spearhead the development of MLA’s first strategic plan in 15 years, engaging stakeholders across all levels; lead implementation and establishment of data-driven tracking systems to measure progress, drive accountability, and assess impacts and outcomes.
