I run the organization that produces the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, which brings thousands of people to the tiny town of Elko, Nevada, every year in late January. Headquartered in the historic Pioneer Hotel, the Western Folklife Center\'s programming includes live music, poetry, talks, innovative media projects as well as a curated gallery space and educational activities in local schools. The Pioneer Hotel also houses our gift shop, the Pioneer Saloon, and our beloved 300-seat G3 Theater where so many great Western artists have performed.
