As Seyfarth’s Boston office co-managing partner and co-chair of the firm’s Health Care practice group, I am an experienced manager, counselor and litigator with deep knowledge of federal employment law, state common law, and statutory claims—including Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, civil and equal rights, fair employment practices, and wage payment issues. I counsel and defend a wide range of employers across industries, with a particular focus on health care and life sciences, and additional experience in financial services, tech, retail, and hospitality.I work with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations to negotiate and draft employment policies, contracts, and covenants. I prosecute and defend employment-related disputes, including agency enforcement actions and claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, fiduciary duty, noncompetition, nonsolicitation, unfair competition, and whistleblowing. I prosecute and defend a wide variety of business and employment-related disputes including discrimination, harassment and retaliation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, non-competition, non-solicitation and unfair competition claims. My experience also includes defending ERISA claims in court and before the United States Department of Labor.
