I have experience with highly regulated industries, including timeshare sales and finance/fintech. I\'m a Compliance Advisor with SoFi and an eagle-eyed freelance copy editor and proofreader. I work on advertising and marketing materials, consumer disclosures, novels, legal documents, product packaging, contracts, and more for clients in the United States and worldwide. Shortly after graduating with a B.A. in Communication, I received a scholarship at a local law school. After getting my J.D. and passing the California Bar Exam, I was involved in a car crash that ended up saving my life when a routine CAT scan revealed a giant cerebral aneurysm. Five surgeries (and several complications) later, I am alive and well—and very blessed and thankful to be here! I live in Texas with my husband, two daughters, and our pets. Loves: Family, animals, travel, silly jokes, music, good food, reading, movies, long walks (no, seriously.), SCUBA diving (I\'m a PADI Divemaster), theme parks, and photography (above and below the water!)
