About Kristine Vazzano

For the past 17 years, I\'ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals with eating disorders as a licensed clinical psychologist. My work spans direct client and family care through a comprehensive outpatient practice, as well as leading innovative workshops, group interventions, and specialized treatment programs across Michigan.​What drives me in this work is witnessing the transformation that happens when people reclaim their relationship with food and their bodies. My therapeutic approach blends research-backed methods with each client\'s unique vision for their recovery, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.​My passion for this field has taken me to international conferences where I\'ve presented on family-based treatment approaches, mental health advocacy, and the evolving role of technology in eating disorder care.Teaching and mentoring the next generation of clinicians remains one of my greatest professional joys. There\'s something powerful about sharing this calling with others.​Beyond individual treatment, I\'m committed to shifting how we talk about eating disorders, breaking down barriers to mental health care, and expanding access to quality resources for those who need them most.​Recovery isn\'t just possible—it\'s something that I see happen every day.
