First to fill this role. Direct report to the CISO. Transforming daily processes involving critical data to ensure checks and balances providing safeguards to support legal requirements. Working alongside the executive team to develop and implement institutional change.Employing tools to drive data governance- Utilized ExpertPIA, TrustArc and now actively managing OneTrust. Mapping and documenting critical data related to over 275 data processes in order to demonstrate to regulators we take a \'Privacy by Design\' approach to data management- Regularly engaging hundreds of key stakeholders across multiple lines of business- Able to produce, on demand, key data facts such as where data is stored, who has access to it and why- Executed multiple projects to deliver data governance initiatives including automating onboarding new applicants for new business- Negotiated with vendors and managed contacts in order to deliver the final solution- Followed Agile methodology- Worked closely with over 40 global stakeholders in the Americas, EMEA and APAC- Designed, tested and deployed 10 different versions of the automated onboarding solution, country-by-country, over a 12 month period.
